2007年にチャールズ・イームズ生誕100周年を記念して、数量限定で生産されたプライウッド仕様のイームズ・エレファントです。日本には100体ほど販売されたそうです。
当時、青山のhh styleで購入しました。
エレファントの状態は、購入してから開けておらず、今回の出品にあたり状態確認、撮影のため開封しました。
エレファントの状態はミントコンディションです。箱は、14年ほど経過しているため若干の日焼けや凹みがあります。
付属品の袋、製造番号の記載された封筒、冊子など全て残っています。

Eames Elephant Plywood Red Maple. This is a plywood Eames Elephant produced in limited quantities in 2007 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Charles Eames' birth. It is said that about 100 units were sold in Japan. I bought it at hh style in Aoyama at the time. The condition of the elephant was that it had not been opened since it was purchased, and was opened for the purpose of checking the condition and taking photos for this listing. The elephant is in mint condition. The box has some sun damage and dents as it is about 14 years old. All accessories, including the bag, envelope with the serial number, and booklet, remain.
